RESONANCE

In Resonance, a story-driven, cooperative adventure game, two players explore the DIOMHAIR 16 space station in Jupiter orbit as part of a rescue mission. There they have to find out why the station has stopped responding and are forced to come to terms with their tragic personal past after a catastrophe. The problem is that they were once married to each other.Host your own game and invite a friend. Decide in advance which of you will take on the role of Robert and Catriona and experience their emotional adventure together. Only by playing cooperatively can you progress and master the tricky challenges and difficult decisions that await you at DIOMHAIR 16.The project was done during our final university year together with 40 classmates.With Andre providing the initial concept for the game and being part of the programming department, while Albina shaped the look of the surroundings, characters and UI.

THANOS - LOVED BY GOD

With "Thanos - Loved by God", a local co-op game is to be created, which will join the series of games for entertainment at relaxed parties and evenings. One of the players takes on the role of the Greek Thanos, while the other player takes on the "all-powerful" role of the god Zeus to help Thanos.As a local co-op title, it is designed to bring the 2 players together to solve puzzles, collect artifacts, defeat monsters and get to the end of the level. Alternatively, it can also be used to have fun by hindering and trolling each other. Dying only plays a minor role and does not hinder the fun of the game. The carefree atmosphere of a cozy game should be supported by the aesthetics, animation of the characters and music.With a team size of 10 people, we brought this co-op platformer to life within 6 months.Andre took the role of Game Director, refining his initial game idea into a playable product with the team. Albina took up the role of Art Director for the project to find the fitting visuals and guide and support the art team.

LOST STATES

The players are in an arena and are always trying to manipulate each other. To win, a player must have all the specified resources on their collection card safely stored in their inventory. The player who makes the best decisions and knows how to adapt to all influences will advance quickly and gain an advantage.The focus is on collecting the various resources. However, in order not to make this collection too easy, opponents can also intervene in the game and push the goal further and further into the seemingly unattainable distance. The central element of the game is therefore clear. Collecting your own resources as quickly as possible, preventing other players from reaching their goal and finding a good balance between action and reaction.It started out as a student board game project in a team of 6. Revisited 2023 with just the two of us to digitalize it.Andre's vision for the project proofed successful during board games playtests in 2017 and capured even more enthusiam as we made it into a digital version in 2022. Albina continuously provided the visuals from the very beginning.
